Sustainability communication
The company’s activities leading to the resolution of social problems, which have become more complicated and severe in recent years, are expected from society. Through communication with stakeholders, we understand society’s expectations and make efforts to realize a sustainable society. Through such communication, we are also making efforts to build a fiduciary relationship with stakeholders.
MAEDA’s major methods for communication with stakeholders
External communication
By preparing Japanese and English editions of our “Sustainability” website as well as a Integrated report of INFRONEER Holdings, we are transmitting non-financial information to a larger number of stakeholders.
We also arrange an opportunity for information disclosure and a dialog concerning not only the business strategy and business plans of our company, but also our company’s efforts for sustainability focused on the “dividends to the earth,” etc.
Other than the above, we have regarded the participation in various events in a field office’s neighboring area as a kind of dialog with stakeholders. Through such dialog, we have learned from each stakeholder what they think is problematic and what their expectations are, which are then utilized to examine the best way to meet their expectations.
Internal communication
We disclose the “Integrated Report” issued by INFRONEER Holdings Inc. in PDF format to enable viewing by our employees.
In addition, after the issuance of the “Integrated Report,” we held a briefing meeting using the WEB meeting tool, in which about 2,500 people participated.
Further, we are holding ESGs seminar where our employees can acquire basic knowledge on sustainability, and are issuing a newsletter that covers topics on sustainability (12 times a year).
Such activities to disseminate sustainability to employees improved the comprehension level of social problems and the level of familiarity with SDGs, which our company regards as important.
